Due to the lack of gym space fans will not be allowed at the Hesston Wrestling Tournament this Saturday, December 12th. The tourney will be streamed and the link is on the Hesston Schools webpage.
Hillsboro HS will be asking parents to clear each gym after each game tonight at the Lyons vs Hillsboro BB games. Parents will only be able to check in at the pass gate for their son/daughter's game. You will not be allowed to watch a game if your son/daughter is not suited up for the game. Girl's parents can only watch the girls game and boy's parents can only watch the boys game. Masks will be required and enforced.

As we prepare for a much needed winter break, the teachers and staff at PES want to have some fun the last week of the semester. So we are please to release our schedule for our themed Spirit Week (12/14-12/18) of Winter and Christmas fun:
Monday: Festive Dress Day - Dress up like Santa, a snowman, Reindeer or an elf.
Tuesday: Present Day - Dress in favorite holiday colors - Red, Silver, Gold, Green, or any color you like.
Wednesday: Sweats Day - Dress in your favorite pair of sweats. Lets get comfy and cozy.
Thursday: Ugly Sweater Day - The uglier, the better! Get creative!
Friday: Pajama Day - Everyone's favorite! Its the most wonderful time of the Year!
We will be allowing 2 parents/guardians per participant on 12/10/20 for the LMS vs Haven BB games. We will only be allowing in parents/guardians and not any other family member. Substitutes will not be allowed in. We will be clearing each gym after each game and admitting back in only those parents who have a child scheduled to play in the next game. Masks will be required for entry and must be kept on at all times and worn properly covering the mouth and nose. Those not in compliance will be asked to leave the facility. Approximate times parents will be allowed in will be: 4:30 pm - 7th Grade; 5:40 - 8th Grade; 6:50 pm - C Team. The games will be streamed on the USD #405 Facebook page.

The Lyons Varsity Girls and Boys BB teams play Inman tonight. The girls game begins at 6:00 pm followed by the boys. To watch the varsity games log onto www.NFHSnetwork.com and search for Lyons HS. From there you will subscribe and follow the link.

To the Parents of Students Identified in Special Education at Park Elementary School:
Due to high numbers of quarantined staff and students in the special education department, those who are not already quarantined and receive services more than 50% of their day directly from special education support will move to remote learning beginning December 7, 2020 and ending December 17, 2020, and able to return to onsite learning December 18, 2020.
Those students who receive special education services in the general education classroom and also special education classroom, at less than 50% of their day will receive instruction via remote teaching from their regular special education teachers. At this time, there are no special education services available in the general education classrooms.
Parents will be contacted by their special education teacher to discuss the details of their remote services.

Students & Parents
Lyons High School will use our Hybrid Learning Model next Week - December 7 - December 11.
Group A will be in classes daily from 8:00 am - 11:25 am each morning.
Group B will be in class daily from 11:55 am - 3:25 pm each afternoon.
The times that students aren't attending classes in-person, they should be working on classroom assignments, homework, projects, studying, etc...
Lunch for Group A will be a grab-n-go lunch as they leave the building each day.
Lunch for Group B will be available for them in the cafeteria each day 11:25-11:50
Shuttle bus services will run as normal in the morning and at the conclusion of the as well as a midday shuttle bus.

Tuesday, - Classes 5 - 8
Wednesday, Classes 1 - 4
Thursday, Classes 5 - 8
