Rice County Health Department is reporting high levels of influenza‑like illness (ILI) in the community, which is affecting students and staff in USD 405. ILI includes fever with cough and/or sore throat, caused by flu or other common winter respiratory viruses.
The Health Department is working with school administrators, nurses, and healthcare providers to monitor illness trends and support prevention efforts.
