Saturday, the band traveled to Larned and came back with plenty of medals, doing even better than I had expected! All students who received Outstanding ratings will move on to perform at the State Solo & Ensemble Festival on April 29th.

The 8th grade parents are requesting that you send in some pictures of your student for the 8th grade slideshow that will be shown at 8th grade promotion. Lyons will host three track meets that start during the school day. We will dismiss early on those days so that we can get our students and staff cleared out of the parking lot before the visiting teams begin arriving and this will allow our track workers from each building can get to the meet on time.
