The Pride of Lyons Marching Band would like to invite all Lyons Band Alumni to join them for the
Fall Homecoming football game on Friday, September 30.
Please email Mr. Scherer (ascherer@usd405.com) if you plan to participate!
Let him know if you are able to provide your own instrument and flip folder or not.
Call time will be 5:00 PM in the band room.
Alumni will warm-up and rehearse with the band and then march in the parade block to the stadium.
Alumni will perform the following tunes on the field with the band:
"Lyons Alma Mater" during the Homecoming Ceremony
"Star-Spangled Banner" during pre-game (sung by Lionaires)
“Let Me Clear My Throat” and "LHS Fight Song" in the pre-game tunnel
"Holiday" after the LHSMB halftime show
Alumni will join the band in the stands during the game. Sheet music will be provided in advance (email Mr. Scherer if you haven't received it).
We encourage you to wear your Lyons Band T-Shirt if you have one. Shirts may be purchased for $15. Or you may wear any blue or white Lyons shirt or jacket.
