Activities of LHS this week
Homecoming Pep Rally
Lyons High School will dismiss at 1:45 pm on Friday, October 1 for students to arrive at the pep rally by 2:15
Inclement weather plans (Rain) - The Pep Rally will be held in the LHS Gymnasium at 2:15
LHS would not dismiss school prior to the Pep Rally.
Homecoming Parade: Leaves LHS Parking Lot at 2 pm - North on Dinsmore to Commercial Street and west on Commercial Street to the Courthouse.
Cheerleaders: Will ride on Rice County Fire Trucks.
Football Team & Coaches: Will ride on Hay Wagons/Trailers
Candidates and Attendants: will ride/drive Golf Carts
Pep Rally: 2:15 pm Location: South Side of the Courthouse Square
Sophomore Class Hamburger/Hot Dog Meal Fundraiser: LHS Cafeteria 5-7 pm
Ticket Prices: High School Students & Adults: $7
K-8th Grade - $6
Pre-School: Free
Teams will clear the field at 6:30 pm
Homecoming Ceremony - 6:35 pm
Fall Homecoming Football Game: Lyons v Sterling
Kickoff: 7:00 pm - “BEAT STERLING”
Homecoming Dance:
30-minutes (approximately 9:45ish) after the game until 12:00 am
Cost: $3 per person
