LHS Science teacher Amanda Buckwalter was recognized recently for earning Trane-NC3 Data Analytics industry-recognized teacher certification in training sponsored by the Rural Education Center (k-state.edu) this June. Opportunities now exist for Lyons USD 405 students to earn Industry-Recognized Certifications with Trane’s BTU Crew Turns Your School into a Living-Learning Energy Lab and the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) providing financial incentives for improving energy efficiency in schools.
Industry-recognized certificates are one of the new measures being used by education officials in the state of Kansas to measure the effectiveness of education programs.
