Congratulations to the high school team for Rice County in the LifeSmarts consumer education contest for their first place finish at the state level competition. Good luck to them as they have qualified to represent the State of Kansas at the national competition in Cincinnati in April. LHS team members include Sam Steele, Deacon Showalter, and Will Miller. Other team members include Treyton Olander and Tobias Jesseph, both of Little River High School. The team is coached by Tina Steinert.
