The Lyons High School 1979 Boys Track & Field Team will be inducted into the Lyons Schools Hall of Fame at a ceremony to be held in conjunction with the Lyons Invitational Track Meet on April 8, 2022 Members of the team include: Mark Fisher, Don McKinnis, Don Campbell, Donny Wilson, Darryl Thornton, Mark Hundley, Kent Teeter, Doug Siemens, Ernie Wilson, Mike Rogers, Pam Maxwell, Bev Teeter, Sonny Hunter, Darin Dressel, Steve Moss, Pat Kottas, Jerry Durham, Andy Parrish, Coach Don Smith, Coach John New, Coach Garrett Wheaton (dec), Julie Monroe, Todd McGlynn, Kirk Kahler, Mike McQuilliam, Bobby Howard, Terry Brewster, David Hundley, Jon Wilson, Mark McKenna, Craig Thornburg, and Chris Michaelis. The Lyons schools will be holding a required crisis drill this morning at 11:00. If you hear some commotion or social media traffic about it, rest assured it is just a drill.
