INCLEMENT WEATHER
Weather Announcements
Adverse weather conditions may cause early dismissal,
a delay in the start of school by
one or two hours,
or the cancellation of school for the upcoming school day.
In such cases, parents will be notified by messages on our
Facebook, the USD #405 website,
and the district's phone system.
Weather bulletins will be reported on radio and/or television.
The notice will be issued before 7:00 am each morning.
If possible, a decision will be reached the preceding night.

If your household did not receive a message
via SMS message, phone call, or email,
report this to your student's education center.
If important contact information has changed.
It is important contact the office
of the student's education with current information.

Child Care Weather Watch
Whenever possible, students will go outside for recess.
This means that we need to focus on the temperatures
that your students will be exposed to.
Please consider what clothing the student will need to wear
depending
on the temperature of the day.
Below is a chart that can help gauge whether
students should have outdoor recess.
