Teresa Konda is a 4th grade teacher at Central Elementary School. She received her Bachelors of Arts degree from Marymount College. She began her career teaching 5th and 6th grade at Sacred Heart Grade School located in Topeka Kansas.
She taught a few years there before moving to Lyons. She began her teaching as a paraprofessional in a kindergarten classroom. Following that, she was hired to create a writing lab at Central Elementary to be a part of their parallel block schedule. She also taught as a Title I math teacher before moving into a 4th grade classroom.
She tries to go to as many school functions as time allows and greatly enjoys watching the kids of Lyons grow and develop. In her free time, Teresa enjoys running, riding bikes, and being outside.
