COVID testing just got a lot faster at Lyons schools. We will begin using the BinaxNow antigen test. This is the same rapid results test that is available over the counter and is safe enough to be performed at home. All students who will be tested will need to have a new release form signed by parents before their first test since this is a different procedure than the saliva test that we have been using.
Go to https://vimeo.com/478924669 to watch a short video.

Lyons Schools are transitioning to the Antigen Testing Platform (this is the rapid 15 min test) for COVID Testing. This requires a new permission slip. Testing will resume Monday morning at Central School starting at 8:00 AM, this form must be filled out and turned in prior to testng. Testing is only for those identified as close contact in school. This test ensures those testing negative can return to school and activities
