Lyons HS Wrestling hosts Cheney and Stafford Thursday, December 3rd. Matches will begin at 5:30 pm. No spectators will be allowed as per KSHSAA policy. We will be streaming the matches beginning at 5:30 pm on Facebook live on the USD #405 Facebook page.
LMS BB travels to Smoky Valley Thursday, December 3rd. Games will begin at 4:30 pm. No spectators will be allowed, but you can still watch the games at the following link: live.smokyvalley.org
LHS Basketball - Lyons will host Inman (at Lyons) in the first round of the Moundridge tournament. As per new KSHSAA policy SPECTATORS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED. JV/C games will be livestreamed on our USD #405 Facebook page. Varisity games will be livestreamed on NFHS Network. (see pamphlet)

No Fans in the Stands - The Kansas State High School Activities Association Board of Directors, made up of high school and middle school representatives from the leagues across Kansas, school boards, activities professionals, and others voted to prohibit spectators from attending winter activities to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 but still allow students to compete. USD 405 is working on plans to livestream all middle school and high school basketball and wrestling events. Details will be released as soon as they become available.
The Ellsworth @ Lyons HS Basketball games scheduled for this Friday, December 4th have been postponed . The reschedule date has tentatively been set for Thursday, December 17th.
Park Parents: We wanted to let you know that our Winter Concert has been rescheduled for a later date. Unfortunately, due to the rise in COVID-19 cases, we will not have a live performance on the evening of Dec. 1st at LHS. We will have a live streamed or recorded performance that will take place during the school day on Dec. 9th. We apologize for the inconvenience. You will be getting more detailed information from the school soon about the performances on the 9th.

the Cheney Cardinals, on Thursday, December 3 rd , in a wrestling double-dual beginning at 5:30 p.m in the LHS gym.
Order of the dual is as follows:
5:30 – Lyons vs. Cheney
6:30 (time approximate) – Stafford vs. Cheney
7:30 (time approximate) – Lyons vs. Stafford
On Nov. 24 the KSHSAA BOD adopted a policy that no spectators will be allowed at KSHSAA sponsored activities from Dec. 1 - Jan. 28. Please inform your teams that masks will be required for entry and must remain on at all times unless they are on the mat
We will be attempting to livestream our event and that information is attached. If our Pixellot system is not working we will Facebook live the event.
LMS BB plays at Fairfield on Monday, November 30, 2020. Play begins at 4:00 pm with the B - Girls, followed by the B - Boys, A - Girls then finishing with the A - Boys. Tickets for entrance have been handed out to the players this morning. Masks will be required for entry and must be worn at all times.

LHS is moving to Remote Learning Plan on Thursday, Nov 19. Please read the attached letter.
Park Parents: Due to the increased number of COVID-19 positive cases and close contact quarantines in our staff, we as a building and district are moving to a Remote Learning model tomorrow, Thursday, November 19th through November 24th. I am going to post my letter to you on our website and Facebook page. I am also going to post a video explaining the expectations for remote learning on SeeSaw.
