The USD 405 Board of Education has rescinded the 2021 COVID plan in lieu of regular board policy on communicable diseases. That communicable disease policy applies to staff and students. It prohibits individuals with symptoms of infectious diseases from attending school until at least 24 hours after symptoms are gone without the use of symptom-reducing medications. In the event that COVID, or any other contagious disease, begins to significantly disrupt the schools, the board may meet to reconsider additional precautions.
