Since Thursday was a high school-only meet, the LMS runners made a quick trip to Pratt-Skyline on the morning of Saturday, September 9th. The middle school races are their biggest races at this meet and they medaled in the top 10. We ran well, bringing home 4 medals from our 12 runners, and over half of our runners set or established a PR. Adahir Rivera ran a PR 6:11 mile for 2nd
Aaron Villasenor was not far behind with a PR 6:18 mile for 5th
Noah Geeves had a strong finish, holding on to 9thin the 2-mile race
Derek Valerio was right behind Noah, passing in the last 100m to get 10th and establishing his PR
Though we didn't see any hardware on the girls' side, Mia Pulley, Sarah Loughridge, Ava Almanza, and Tegan Tipp all set PRs for their mile.
Alex Landeros, Matthew Thurman, and Jon Steele rounded out the 2-mile runners, and Scott Reazin also ran in the 1-mile race.'
