Central Elementary Plant Sale

Starts Tuesday, April 2

    The Central Elementary Resource Room will be holding our annual plant sale starting April 2nd from 12:45 to 3:00 daily. We plan to sale every day during those times until all inventory is gone. All proceeds will go towards 2019-2020 plant project. All plants that we have were grown by two students at the beginning of the school year. Most plants were started from a seed.   Lyons High School is excited to announce the implementation of Engineering and Energy career and Technical Education pathways.  An articulation agreement with Cowley College was signed on March 7th to offer the high school/college, dual credit hours to students. Dr. Watson Visits Lyons

On Monday, March 4, Dr. Randy Watson, Kansas Commissioner of Education, visited Lyons to lead a discussion on school redesign during a community meeting. Approximately 70 people attended the meeting. LMS Contest Results, LHS Contest Season Continues Our 7th/8th Grade Band traveled to Larned MS on Tuesday, March 5 for our annual middle school music festival. The band performed their two pieces at the Larned Community Center, and the soloists and ensemble performed at Larned Middle School. LHS to help Park Elementary

Lyons High School students will have a Magic the Gathering tournament.  Thursday,  March 7th some students will attend an event in the LHS library featuring a Magic the Gathering card tournament. This will start at 9:00 P.M. in the Library and finish at 9:00 A.M. on Friday the 8th.  Only Lyons High School students can attend if a $10 fee is paid. All proceeds go towards the purchase of an assistive device . . .

School Closing or Delayed Start Procedures
