Technology / Yearbook

by Sharon Quinn
September 08, 2008

As teachers, we feel students should be challenged to learn and achieve far above their expectations.  The middle school technology curriculum is designed as a progression of skills and knowledge from their introduction into the program as sixth grade to their promotion as 8th graders.

Eighth students grade students in Mrs.Quinn's class's main focus will be producing the middle school yearbook.  This year we will be attempting to do a school newspaper as well as doing some keyboarding practice to increase their proficiency in typing skills.  Other projects include completing lessons in Microsoft Word, Excel, Publisher, with possibilities of projects in Movie Maker.

Linked below are some of the keyboarding web sites we will be using.
