Kansa Creation Myth

Kansas History students at Lyons Middle School began their study of Native American by reading the Kansa Indian Creation Myth. After reading the myth students organized themselves so they could represent every creature in the myth. They then identified all the action words in the story so they understood what was expected of their creature. Finally they rehearsed the story many times so that the filming would go smoothly.
