Central's Spelling Bee 2010
The Central School Spelling Bee was held on Wednesday, January 20th in the school library. The winners, Austin, Kassidy, Heaven, Jack and Tyler represented Central at the County Spelling Bee on February 13th at the Sterling College Spencer Hall. Congratulations to Austin for placing runner up in that
competition. He is an alternate for the State Spelling Bee to be held on March 13 at 9:00 AM at the Fine Arts Building at Barton County Community College. With Mrs. Whitsitt's retirement at the end of the year, this was the last year for her to serve as coach for the event. Central appreciates the nearly 25 years Mrs. Whitsitt has served as Spelling Bee coordinator. Check out pictures from Spelling Bee.
