5th Graders Make Dioramas
Mrs. Zink's Class
by Tiffany Zink
Location, Location, Location! How does your environment affect your life? Central Elementary 5th grade students in Mrs. Zink’s class spent a month learning how environment affected the lives of the first Americans. We analyzed physical characteristics of North America and how it would impact the Indians that lived in each region.

Each student researched a North American Indian tribe. They then created a diorama depicting the environment that each tribe lived in. They had to include physical landscape, housing, clothing, food and special crafts or religion in their diorama. Students then presented their information and diorama to the class. Many gross but interesting facts were shared. The students did an awesome job. Thank you to all the parents for helping their students. Our dioramas will be on display in the library through October 23.
