LHS Freshman Play in Spurts;
Compete in Triangular Against Sterling and Hoisington But Come Up Short

"We played in spurts," Lyons High Freshman volleyball coach Marlin Clark said after playing three games against Sterling. "I would like to see the girls get on top and stay on top."
Lyons pushed Sterling to three games, but the Black Bears won the match, 16-25, 25-16 and 15-10. "We struggled serving," Clark said. "That seems to be one of our biggest problems. Hopefully we will get better."
In the second match of the triangular, Hoisington beat Lyons in two games, 25-14 and 25-16. The 4-13 freshman team is off until October 17th.
