Homecoming Activities Scheduled

There's a busy week in store at Lyons High. Homecoming activities got underway Monday September 29th with initiate a teacher day. Yesterday was spotlight day, Today is superhero day, Thursday is floatation device day and Friday school colors day.

Thursday at 7 p.m. there will be a bonfire and jersey auction at the softball field just north of the football field. Ediger Real Estate and Auction will auction jerseys.

Friday activities will start at 2 p.m. with a homecoming parade and pep assembly. The parade will start at Lyons High School and proceed north on Highway 14 to the square. There will be a pep assembly at approximately 2:20 p.m. on the south side of the courthouse. Several sports teams, clubs and classes will have floats in the parade.

The Fall homecoming ceremony will start at 6:30 p.m. at the LHS football field with the presentation of the homecoming court and crowning of the king and queen.

Lyons High will play Southeast  of Saline at 7 p.m. Half-time entertainment will include the Lyons High marching band, Lyons High cheer dance and Showalter fireworks display.
