How do
I apply?
People interested in applying for a teacher’s position may
fill out the online application at the Kansas State
Department of Education site or fill out
the Certified
Staff Application then mail a
letter of interest along with your application to the Frisbie
Education Center. The address is 800 S. Workman, Lyons, KS 67554

includes: attention Tara Logan.
Who do I
contact about a specific position?
The contact
person for positions ranging from Pre-K to Second grade is Nancy
Barlow. She may be contacted at Park Elementary
(620-257-5624).
For positions in grades third through fifth, call Bob Turner (620-257-5612) at Central Elementary. Bob is the Principal for Central Elementary. Kevin Logan is the Middle School Principal and contact for grades six through eight (620-257-3961).
All high school positions are interviewed and assigned by Gary Sechrist and Kelly Nusser (620-257-5114). Mr. Greg Konda may also be contacted if you are interested in being a school bus driver for USD 405.
Rice County Special Education Cooperative (RCSSC) employment is handled by Mitch Neuenschwander at the FEC (620-257-5169) or Greg Konda at the high school (620-257-5114).
