Mrs. Mullen was born and raised in Lyons, attended Kindergarten through Sixth Grade at South, then Lyons Junior High, and Lyons High School. She graduated from LHS in 1969, Hutchinson Junior College in 1971, and Emporia State University in 1973 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Education. She has lived in Kansas all of her life, and taught in Minneapolis from 1973 - 1975, Chase from 1975 - 1989, and Park and Central in Lyons from 1989 to the present. Mrs. Mullen grew up in the Christian Church and is a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Lyons. She and her husband, Bob, enjoy playing golf, traveling, reading, and spending time with their family and Creede, their Yellow Labrador. Mrs. Mullen's parents live in Lyons, and her sister, Lanie, lives in Atlanta. She has been a step-mom since 1973, and wishes she could spend more time with Debbie, Sharenne, Kevin, and their children! In the meantime, she thoroughly enjoys spending her days with her 4Mers!  |
