| I was born in Alamosa, Colorado. I then moved to a farm in Greensburg, Kansas where I lived for 19 years. I became a third generation graduate from Greensburg High School in 1993. I'm the oldest of three sisters. I attended Barton County Community College, where I got my associates degree. I then worked in the real world as a secretary for a plumbing/heating company for several years and decided that was not for me. I went back to college at Newman University and got my teaching degree in 2001. I now live on a farm southeast of Claflin with my husband, 2 kids and 4 dogs. Renovation of house and barn are always in the works. I keep busy taking classes and keeping track of my children's activities. I also help my husband with his hunting/outfitting business on the weekends. I never thought I would be putting up tree stands, tracking hunting seasons or learning to shoot a bow. When I have free time I like to read, garden and cook. I collect cookbooks and love to go antiquing. Antiques fill my 100 year old farm house. |
