| I was born and raised in
Hutchinson, Kansas. I attended grade school, middle school, high
school, and junior college there. After junior college, I attended
Kansas State Teachers College in Emporia, graduating with a degree
in Elementary Education. Two weeks after graduation I married Bob
Friesen and started teaching 5th grade in Buhler, Kansas. I taught
5th grade in Buhler, 3rd grade in Hutchinson, pre-school in Dodge
City, and am currently teaching 3rd grade in Lyons. I have my ESL
Endorsement and have third grade ESL students. Bob and I have three married daughters and 6 grandchildren, five of which live in Hutchinson. Kaleigh and her mom and dad live in Arvada, Colorado. My hobbies include reading, gardening, and being grandma. |
