I grew up in Covina, California where I graduated High School in 1975. I attended Azusa Pacific Christian College 2 years before moving to Englewood, Colorado. There I worked as a secretary for Mission Viejo Builders until I married H.R. Boroughs and moved to Lyons. We have 2 children, Tyler and Megan. I have been employed by U.S.D. 405 since 1984. I started as secretary at the Lyons High School for the first 5 years with the district. I transferred to Central were I have been school secretary. I enjoy my job immensely, especially working with such a variety of people...kids, staff, parents, community people...the job is never boring. I got a lot of my secretarial training from my mother who was also a High School secretary for many years. My hobbies include counted cross-stitch and other types of needlework, traveling, remodeling our turn of the century home, walking, scrap booking, and baking. Someday I hope to enter the Pillsbury Bake Off contest. I am also a sports mom because both of my children are actively involved in about every sport there is. |
